Mobil reli karya VW Amerika dan Andretti Autosport ini  mampu menghasilkan tenaga 544 dk.  VW GRC yang berpenggerak 4 roda ini akan dikemudikan oleh Tanner Foust dan Scott Speed. "Beetle GRC memiliki tampilan unik dan teknologi. Ia akan mengejutkan para penggemar. Saat ini mobil ini sedang terus diuji untuk menghadapi kompetisi pertamanya," jelas Jost Capito, Direktur VW Motorsport. Mobil reli ini dibekali mesin 4-silinder segaris dan dikombinasikan dengan transmisi balap 6-speed. Klaim VW, ia mampu berakselerasi 0-100 km/jam dalam waktu 2,2 detik dan kecepatan puncak 200 km/jam.
