Soalnya, tepat pada tanggal 4 Mei 1904 di Hotel Midland (Manchester, Inggris), Charles Rolls dan Henry Royce bertemu pertama kali serta sepakat mendirikan sebuah perusahaan yang menjual mobil dengan nama Rolls-Royce. Perayaan 110 tahun berdirinya Rolls-Royce akan berlangsung serentak di dua tempat, yaitu di Goodwood Motor Circuit (West Sussex) dan Hotel Midland (Manchester). Di kedua tempat itu acara khusus. Di Goodwood yang tak jauh dari markas dan pabrik Rolls-Royce ini akan dipajang Wraith, Phantom Coupe, dan Ghost. Sementara di Hotel Modland akan hadir Rolls-Royce Phanton produksi 2014. "Perusahaan yang didirikan Charles Rolls dan Henry Royce memiliki filosofi sederhana, yaitu mengejar kesempurnaan.
